Chinese Cotton prices looks like have peaked. China is fighting with serious lockdowns in 26 of its major cities since two months, along with that industrial slow down and once again dispersion at ports are making things worst. All these factors are seriously acting against any positive industrial move, and cotton is not an exception.
Texas rains are here to support softening prices of cotton and that is visible on ICE Cotton futures. Prices on ICE too will take a halt and may soft little further.
Indian markets are comparatively less reacting to these developments, since we are actually facing shortage of cotton in physical.
